A House Wren in the House
July 15, 2010 Bird House Feeder
This house wren annually flies into the bathroom and builds a nest on top of a cabinet above the toilet. The bathroom window is left open 24/7 until the babies fly away. She laid 3 eggs this summer, and all hatched and flew away last week.

Hummingbirds are fun, entertaining, full of energy and it’s easy to attract hummingbirds.

Loved this!
Delightful. Although note that this is a Carolina Wren, not a house wren!
Oh, I didn’t know that. Thank you for that information (I’ll tell my friends, because that wren visits every single summer (had 4 chicks hatch this past July, 2009, if it’s the same wren).
