Hummingbirds are fun, entertaining, full of energy and it’s easy to attract hummingbirds.

Sounds like you are well prepared
By bedding I hope you don’t mean sawdust? that shouldn’t be used for rodents as it can cause breathing problems. Things like Megazorb, carefresh, ectopetbed and Bedexcel are fine.
Half full of bedding is great, as you need at least 6 inches to give them room to build a network of tunnels.
Thing to bear in mind regarding whether to get the pair or trio is that it is really hard to introduce any gerbils later on – you would have to use a split cage, but then only if it were 1 to 1. You can’t add a new gerbil to an existing pair, so if the third gerbil would be left alone it might be better to get them as well as otherwise they are likely to stay alone.
You can also get wire toppers to add to your tank to give more space, they are good for giving you an area to put sand baths, hanging toys, hammocks and water where they won’t just get buried.
u seem very prepared but whats the question??? lol is it that ur asking if ur getting the right stuff? well if it is u r lol
hope u have 2/3 great pets good luck =)
That sounds great. If i was your gerbil i’d be very happy. lol
You are so cute, haha!
I was like that when I got my first hamster XD.
All you’ve done is great. Better than most gerbil-owners.
20 gallon is great, and half full of bedding is even better.
But remember not to throw away any toilet paper tubes, they’ll demolish them very quickly.
Sometimes its better to adopt two.. Unless theres a group of three friends.
You sound like you’re doing great!
GOOD LUCK ! x
I’m no gerbil expert but it sounds good to me. I <3 small animals! Woo!
