Someone C's a ladder left in the yard & says it's a safety problem, meaning?

November 28, 2010 Bird House Feeder

I left a ladder in the yard, an extension ladder that has been along the side of the house for months behind some bushes. I used a wooden step ladder to remove a hanging bird feeder outside the kitchen window and I left the ladder leaning against the house. Someone called these safety issues. What do they mean? Are they, themselves, worried too much about safety, or bordering on paranoia?
the house is vacant, so vacant or not, people should not be on the property.
I could probably go roaming around people’s yards and get myself hurt, dog bite, etc. I should not be in anyone’s yard.

Someone could trip on the ladder in the yard, and someone could climb the other ladder to get inside your house. So if you don’t care if all your stuff gets stolen… leave them where they are.
