Superstition about newborn baby and bird following him?

I recently just had a baby boy and when we got to the house a small bird maybe a sparrow kept watching him through a window for hours. We later move him to a different room and the bird followed. Any superstition s or just weird?
Any myths or old wives tales?

Hummingbirds are fun, entertaining, full of energy and it’s easy to attract hummingbirds.
just stating my personal beliefs. I have heard and believe that we are born with guides and protectors who do take form of animals. they stay with us and watch over us in protection. This could be a past relative that has moved on, or some one close to you or your family. I wouldn’t worry, and would take it as a sign of love.
I too have a little one and when he was born a stray cat found us and always slept under the crib and followed him everywhere protecting him.
