Early this morning, I heard a loud thump on my window. My room is on the second floor of my house so at the time, I thought it was just a tree branch rattling against it. But a few minutes ago I looked out the window and there was a small bird just sitting motionless on the roof. I watched it for several minutes to see if it would fly off but it didn’t, and a few minutes ago, an egg popped out of it and rolled off the roof and the bird still just sat there. I’m afraid it might be in shock, and I’m scared to try and touch it. This happened at about eight this morning. What should I do? I want to help if it’s hurt.

there is this wild bird in our backyard. its very small, probably could fit in your palms. it doesnt seem like it can fly, it just hops around. it also can turn it head all around (180 degrees) and then it stays there and sleeps. so its head is like resting on its back. it keeps on shivering too. its been on our patio for about 2 hours that we know of, maybe more. we dont know what to do or what type of bird it is. description- very small, brown, very fluffy, and it has a HUGE beak. like very long and skinny. what should we do???? it could be sick or something or injured. or it could be a baby. this is coming from an animal lovers house so we cant just do nothing. should we feed it?? what and how??? please please help.
email me if you have any questions.
it sleeps most of the time too, its not like just hopping around.

For starters I HATE birds, or at least them banging into the walls and scaring the crap out of me!! But recently we’ve had the same sparrow fly into our house the past three days. The first day the Human Society caught it for me as we have tall ceilings and I couldn’t get it.l The next night he was chilling by my basement door, my hubby got that one. And the other night I woke up to a noise and there he was chilling at my window (on the inside) once again! How do I get rid of him? And where is it coming from. We have a fireplace? I actually duct tape it up with saran wrap (as my hubby laughed at me). My husband works out of town again Tuesday and I need to deal with the situation before hand because i’m not touching it!

i live in a house with my girlfriend and our 4 birds. 2 cockatiels and 2 parakeets. yet i seem to feel like its the birds house and i just live in it. they fly all over the house going and shitting wherever they please. i have brand new couches that are stained with little white spots, you cant sit on one couch because it is covered by a sheet so the birds can look out the window? this is all fine and normal according to my girlfriend… i hate it. i like the birds alot, it was my idea to get them, along with cages for them to live in. i dont mind them being out a little bit but not roaming the entire house like they do. the other day i was making lunch and sat my bread on the countertop, right in a little pile of fresh bird poo. normal? acceptable? i think not. Am i being a jerk by putting my foot down? we have a baby on the way and i dont want her crawling around, picking up bird shit on her lip and playing in it or eating it. am i out of line here or what??? thanks.
