Strange bird outside of my house?

Posted by Filed Under Bird House Feeder with 4 Comments

There is an Oriole outside of my patio door that sits right in front of the glass and pecks on the window. It even sits on the outside door handle and chirps and pecks on the window.
It is soo weird and it doesnt even act scared when im sitting like a foot away from the door.
Does anyone know why it could be doing this?? im just curious because it seems very abnormal.
thanks.

I hope you enjoy one of my new backyard visitors. These are lovely birds and if you are fortunate enough to attract them to your yard in early spring, they are great fun to photograph or video as they let you know with a loud chirp from above just prior to landing on their feeder for a treat. Give one enough time to grab the camcorder or camera!
