I have several bird feeders grouped together about 15 yards from the house in my backyard that attract a lot of squirrels. To eliminate them I just purchased the RWS 34 compact and wanted to know what would be the most accurate/best pellet to use in the RWS 34 for this. I thought I would try out the predator polymags but they seem kinda expensive for a pellet so I thought I would ask if there was a better more cost effective alternative.

Also, when sighting in the scope, should I sight it on a level plain or should I sight it from the angle that I will be shooting at? I will be shooting from my back deck on the second floor and it is about 18-20 feet off the ground. The bird feeders are about 5-6 ft high so I would be shooting down from the deck on them.

Thanks for your help!

ok, so like last year i got my first ever bb gun. and it was great for squirrel controll. we had a sirius overpopulation of squirrels in my area.
so i killed alot of squirrel’s. almost to the point were i thought i would like make them extinct in my neighboorhood. but i was wrong, there are still plenty of squirrels around last summer and i have realy cut down on the ammount of squirrels i kill every week or month. but its fall again, and nearly half the trees have no leaves on them, or are thinning. eggcorns are beginging to fall in my yard. usualy, my yard is a major squirrel place in the fall because i have three big oak tree’s in it. but this year, i have seen like 3 squirrels in my yard. usualy there is like a family at a time there! (up to 6 squirrels) are they avoiding my house? there is a major squirrel path that runs right along the fence in my backyard, and even there i have noticed that there are not many squirrels, i have put up penut butter, and still, no squirrels. last time i checked, squirrels are dumb. not smart. over the summer, i realy only killed like 7 squirrels which is nothing to like the 50 i killed last fall. the squirrels have a bunch of nests in my neighboors yard about 400 feet away, so i dont shoot at them while there in their nest. then they come hopping along my fence in the back yard to go to a bird feeder where i constantly see at least 3 squirrels. did i kill to many of them? will they ever come back? i think they are at my neighboors tree which has many eggcorns falling. oh yeah, can anyone tell me how to sight in my fred bear oddesy bow and arrow? its a 50lb pull bow. i killed about 4 squirrels with it last winter, and i like hunting with it much more than i do with pellet guns. thanks for all the help everyone! oh yeah, to anyone who is antihunter, dont comment saying "dont kill anything" becaues guese what. i dont care! thanks everyone!

Watching birds feed together is a favorite pastime for many people. But seeing their feeders is empty before the birds could feed on their bird seed that will not come as a surprise, especially if there are a bunch of squirrels to find their way, infest your possessions. These curious ever even your status power cables and holes through walls of houses. Bird lovers aware of squirrels can be a big hassle to birds who frequently visit gardens or in their backyards. These creatures to steal the sperm of the bird as the winged little, even expel them away from their homes. Having aggressive appetite voracious feeding behavior, they destroy the bird feeders. Squirrel proof feeders are created for the purpose of preventing access to food for the birds.

Proof of squirrel feeders use eliminates the hassle of re-filling your bird feeders with food and water each time they are emptied squirrels, chipmunks, and other rodents. You can find a lot of these items at your local stores different bbaicobim Internet. I was amazed for the first time I saw how it works. Its like a squirrel attempted to climb over the feeder, feeder rotates faster and faster and threw the squirrel on the ground. because of its futile attempt to gain access to food for the birds, squirrel went from there to find something else to feed on.

There are other methods to deter squirrels, other creatures to get into the bird feeders but find proof squirrel feeders of the best and most effective.Except that how this device comes into play, it is a pleasure to watch me and my little hahiinim every time we spend in the garden each morning, the afternoon of a squirrel on the segment. enters faces is a hearty laugh ????????? fails us. in fact, he was always one of our happiest moments together.

Karen no longer writes about squirrel feeders at http://squirrelprooffeeders.blogspot.com/ proof

My husband and I moved into a house in a metro area that has many squirrels. At first I was delighted because I think squirrels are interesting and comical to watch. We also planted some tomato plants and other vegetation in our yard. I had two bird feeders that the squirrels could climb on and they would virtually knock the food out of the feeders and onto the ground. So I got a squirrel feeder and hung it up, and hung up a cylindrical bird feeder so they can’t jump on it. I just read online that squirrels carry parasites and fleas, damage trees, and reside in attics if your not careful enough. The trees that surround our house carry acorns so there is no real way of getting rid of them. I am also afraid that if I take away their food supply they will work on my vegetation eating it. So what do you do? Also I have a two year old that I take outside often to play, can he get fleas from the ground.

there are several squirrels that live in the trees near my house. every day they eat my garden or eat at my bird feeder. im not interested in just keeping them away…i want them dead. it is illegal where i live to shoot them with a gun so that wont work. i have tried shooting them with a bow but my aim is too poor to get them. i dont want to poison them because i dont want the toxins in my yard and i dont want to risk poisoning the birds. is there a trap that i could make myself out of household items (i dont want to buy one) or some sort of explosive that could be remotely detonated (again that i could make myself). this is more about the challenge of the hunt than about keeping my garden safe. these squirrles are frickin smart! any ideas?
