I saved and rescued a Carolina Chickadee Today. It was horrible to see and wonder if it was going to die or be fine. Luckily, it wasn’t fatally hurt and injured, thankfully. It hit the same window that the Tufted Titmouse hit a month or so earlier, and died with a seed still in his bill. You could see his little heart still beating and eyes moving and looking around. I was looking at it and it suddenly flew erratically and hit a few more things before falling again to the ground, this time in the dirt. My cat ran after it, but he overshot and didn’t even see where the Chickadee landed. Luckily, I did. I jumped down to the dirt where he fell, near the side of the house. He was laying on and next to a stepping stone on his side, slightly more toward the ground at about a 145 degree angle. I could see, again, his heart beating and eyes moving around. I was really worried this could be his last moments, but was hoping for the best. My cat comes back to where the bird and I am, so I rush to get the cat inside before anything happened. LOL Please Read, so the day was normal I was playing on my computer and then bam out of nowhere I saw a little baby snow bird. it flew around the room landing on walls and window sills and no matter how many windows were open it refused to leave so it left the room and started slowly bouncing upstairs so I quickly ran for my camera and recorded 3 things I only used one though so it came upstairs and started mocking us (Me,Bro,Pop pop) and kept flying away than it wandered into my dad’s room and we couldn’t find it. turns out it was under my dad’s bed so my bro scared it out from under the bed and that is when I started recording and got this its short and doesn’t show much of the bird but I kept moving around with the camera making sure the bird didn’t fly in my face. and the second part I didn’t record was the bird going under my dad’s computer and hid so we opened the window and I guess it got tired of us so it flew out. PROBLEM SOLVED!
