Why does a female cardinal want to come into my house?

I have a female cardinal that is attempting to gain entrance to the house by slamming into various windows. This bird has been at it at least a month now.

Hummingbirds are fun, entertaining, full of energy and it’s easy to attract hummingbirds.

The other answer is correct, this bird has no interest in getting inside your house. You need to make your windows less reflective. Check out this site for tips on getting birds to stop pecking and crashing into your windows:

I’d bet she thinks there’s another cardinal in her territory and she sees herself as attacking the other bird.
Cardinals are territorial.
Or she thinks she can just fly through it because it’s reflecting the background.
OR there could be something inside your house that’s very tempting for her.
